Brussels is a city for the bon vivant.
Despite its business-like image, dining, drinking and appreciating fine art and architecture are very much part of life here. The Grand Place, just minutes from the Hotel Amigo, exemplifies this spirit.
Europe’s largest square is lined with grand gothic designs, notably the beautiful City Hall, while along the maze of streets leading off it, all sorts of delicacies await the adventurous. Food ranges from the ubiquitous moules-frites to Michelin-starred restaurants and of course, there is an near-endless range of fine Belgian beers to accompany any meal. The chic thoroughfares of avenue Louis and boulevard de Waterloo show that this city can turn on the style, and though the city is alive with commerce and diplomacy, style and elegance have not been forgotten. A fact that is especially true of the Hotel Amigo.
