Activities
There’s a magical, fairytale feeling to Prague.
Prague’s squares are legendary, and the Castle has museums, galleries and gardens to discover, while crossing the Charles Bridge will provide any number of picture perfect views. Fashionable neighbourhoods hide among the grand buildings, such as Vinohrady with its trendy bistros and chic cocktail bars.
In Prague you might:
- Spend an afternoon in the historic Old Town Square, watching the visitors gather beneath the Astronomical Clock, and milling around Wenceslas Square.
- Sit high above the River Vltava in the grounds of the imposing 9th-century Prague Castle and Gardens, surveying the city below you.
- Try beer tasting in The Brewery Bar, located in the original St Thomas Monastery cellars. Take an on-site tour of St. Thomas church, including the Augustinian Library where the beer recipe was found.
- Wander around the backstreets that line the Old Town Square, where you can find shops selling Bohemian crystal and jewellery. Malá Strana, home of the hotel, is a great place to hunt for antiques.
- See the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Catch perform at their home venue of Rudolfinum, or treat yourself to a performance at the Prague State Opera.
