Hotel De Rome, Berlin
Welcome to Berlin, one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals with a fascinating history and a seductively eclectic mix of architecture and culture.
The historic ballroom - which used to be the cashier hall of the former bank - impresses with its 8-10m ceiling height, the glass roof and original mosaic floor from the 19th century. Today, this exceptional room is the perfect location for upscale events up to 250 participants.
Hotel de Rome's magnificent roof terrace offers a fantastic and impressive view across the rooftops of Berlin's historic city centre. The State Opera House, Unter den Linden, St. Hedwig's Cathedral, Berlin Cathedral, the Television Tower and many other landmarks are almost within touching distance. If the weather is good, the terrace can accommodate exclusive open-air receptions for up to 160 people.
Hotel de Rome opened in October 2006, bringing a new breed of luxury hotel to Berlin. Its levels of service are second to none in the city, and the naturally-lit private function rooms and historic ballroom welcome grand gala dinners and intimate board meetings alike, all with maximum privacy and discretion.
The hotel looks out over Bebelplatz, one of the city‘s most impressive squares and is within walking distance of the major sights, restaurants and shopping possibilities.
