Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City, and a capital alive with dramatic ancient history, modern flair and a passion for la dolce vita.

The hotel opened in 2000, and was designed by Tommaso Ziffer under the careful guidance of Olga Polizzi, Rocco Forte Hotels’s Director of Design. It immediately became a destination hotel in its own right, famous for its stunning terraced gardens.

Hotel de Russie sits on Rome’s fashionable Via del Babuino, which runs between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo. It is close to most of Rome’s iconic attractions and blends classic Italian style with modern design innovation.

The levels of service are world class, from the events staged on the terraces to the restaurant, which serves some of the best food in the city.
